THE iconic punk band The Skids will soon perform again in Cumbria.
The band, which were popular, in the late 1970s and 80s will perform at The Old Fire Station, Carlisle, in November of this year.
The Scottish punk legends will be supported by special guests Spear of Destiny.
In a post on social media, the Old Fire Station wrote: "The Skids were at the heart of the punk scene in Scotland and took their music to London where they were signed by Virgin records.

"They made 4 albums and had numerous hit singles including Into the Valley, The Saints are Coming, Masquerade, and Working for the Yankee Dollar.
"They will be joined by British rock band Spear of Destiny which has been fronted by Kirk Brandon for over 40 years."
The Skids will perform in front of Carlisle audiences on Wednesday, November 13, as part of their 45th anniversary tour.
