A Penrith art gallery has said that it is 'delighted' to be able to host its latest exhibition on the work of Dennis Farell.
Red Barn Gallery located in Melkinthorpe is set to exhibit the work of the Shropshire-based ceramicist who began his artistic journey in 1971 throughout August and September
Farrell's early work was influenced by the industrial urban landscapes of East Lancashire and West Yorkshire, with his current work more landscape-influenced.
More recently Farrell has been producing paintings in oil and acrylic alongside his ceramics.
Jo Jenkins is a senior gallery assistant at Red Barn and discussed the gallery's delight at being able to host the exhibition on Dennis Farrell.
She said: "Red Barn Gallery are delighted to be hosting an exhibition of Dennis Farrell Ceramics throughout August and September.
"Dennis began his artistic journey in 1971 when he attended St Helens School of Art and the Polytechnic Wolverhampton, gaining a Diploma in Art and Design - Ceramics."
