PHX Training, a prominent Cumbrian training provider, is bridging the skills gaps as it marks a milestone of 20 years in business.
The organisation recently earned the esteemed Investors in People Gold accreditation for its dealing towards its staffers.
They were recognised for fostering an open, honest and straightforward approach, maintaining communication with their team about the firm's future direction, and broadening avenues for higher or specialist qualifications for employees.
To top it all, PHX has also succeeded in a thorough inspection conducted by industry watchdog Ofsted, resulting in a Good score for all of their seven branches in the region.
The organisation bagged this grading across all pivotal areas including the standard of education, conduct and attitudes, personal growth, leadership and management and its adult learning plans.
PHX Training has now spent two decades as a prime supplier of tutoring and guidance to aid in carving successful careers for individuals in the workforce and provide enterprises with the essential skills.
Over these years, they have offered support to over 20,000 individuals and delivered more than 11,000 qualifications.
Briony Fawcett, managing director at PHX Training, said: "We’ve continued to raise standards internally as an employer and a provider of education and this is ultimately helping to build successful futures for those people who come to us to improve their skills.
"We continue to help our communities in which we operate and our message to those who are considering upskilling themselves is simple - just come and talk to us."
PHX supports people back into work by forging training itineraries and offering career counsel, free use of computers and printers, CV writing workshops and interview techniques, as well as connections to local firms who are in the hiring process.
A squad of competent trainers provides a diverse mix of resources ranging from offline and online to face-to-face services at the seven PHX Training centres situated in Barrow, Carlisle, Morecambe, Blackpool, Blackburn, Preston, and Workington.
In addition to helping individuals, PHX cooperates with partners as both a principal and a subcontractor.
This enhances their ability to contribute more significantly to their local communities.
PHX Training delivers government-backed training initiatives, adult skills, NEET (not in education, employment or training), employability contracts, apprenticeship training and work-based learning programmes.
