CARLISLE Cathedral is offering members of the public a special tour of the historic building.
The Angels' View Tours offer the public the chance to climb the clerestory and see the Cathedral from a different perspective.
The tour will take place on Monday, August 19, from 11.30pm until 3pm with three different tours lasting around 30 minutes.
In a post on social media, Carlisle Cathedral wrote: "Climb up to our clerestory to experience the Cathedral in a unique way.
"Get up close to our medieval stained glass in the East Window and see the starry ceiling and the Cathedral from a new perspective. Please note this at-height tour includes steps and confined spaces."
Tickets are £4 and children aged 8 to 16 go free.
