A LOCAL charity is encouraging people to take part in a fundraising event.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria is encouraging members of the public to take part in the Great Hospice Cake Off.
In a post on social media, Hospice at Home wrote: "Taking part in our Great Hospice Cake Off is quite literally a piece of cake.
"All you need to do is pick a day in September, grab your friends, family, work colleagues, or neighbours, and catch up over a cuppa and some tasty treats while raising money for a great cause.
"Get involved now by registering for your free digital fundraising pack, email: info@hhwc.org.uk"
