A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of the supply of controlled drugs.
The 22-year-old has been released on bail as investigations continue.
The incident occurred yesterday in Castletown, July 31.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "In relation to the increased police presence in Castletown yesterday afternoon: our PCSOs observed some suspicious activity around an address in the area, resulting in a male making off from officers.
"Multiple officers attended the area to assist in searching for the outstanding male, who was located.
"An address nearby was also searched, in connection with this incident. A 22-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of being concerned about the supply of controlled drugs. He has been released on bail and the investigation is ongoing.
"Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team has a zero-tolerance to anyone involved in drug supply in our community."
