RESCUERS were called out to a Lake District fell after a pair of walkers who had become 'disorientated on tricky ground' when darkness began to fall.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team were called out to High Stile, Buttermere at 9:30pm on Tuesday, July 30 to two walkers who became disorientated on tricky ground as darkness began to fall in the area.
The team helped escort the pair from the mountain and helped them back to their vehicles.

In a statement on social media, Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team said: "The Team was called on Tuesday night to a pair of walkers who had become disoriented on tricky ground as darkness fell.
"The Team Leader was able to pinpoint their location through their mobile phone, putting them in an awkward position on the slopes of High Stile overlooking Buttermere.
"As neither casualty was injured, a limited callout was initiated and five Team members made their way down the valley, quickly located the casualties and escorted them off the fell to their vehicles."
