Cumbria will pay its respect to all those affected by the tragic incident in Southport this week by lighting up landmarks.
Three young girls have now sadly died, with others hospitalised by the horrific attack.
As a mark of respect and solidarity with everyone affected by the tragic incidents which took place in Southport earlier this week, along with many other councils and landmarks across the North West, Cumberland Council are lighting up some buildings pink tonight and over the weekend.
Buildings in Carlisle that will be lit up tonight (August 2) and over the weekend include the Crown and Mitre Hotel and The Citadel.
People can also pay tribute online in Sefton Council's official online book of condolence.
