RESCUE teams were called out to Derwentwater after receiving reports of a person in the water following a boat capsizing on the lake.
Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team and Keswick Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Derwentwater in Keswick on Friday after receiving a 999 call about a person in the water.

In a statement on social media, Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Tasked by Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Belfast Coastguard, along with Keswick Mountain Rescue Team and partner emergency services, after a 999 call had been received reporting a capsized boat and persons in the water on Derwentwater.
"Whilst en route, the welcomed news was received that the incident had been swiftly brought to a safe conclusion."
