CREWS from a West Cumbria RNLI team were called out to a fishing boat experiencing engine problems off the coast of Workington.
Workington RNLI's Dorothy May White all-weather lifeboat was called out at 12.43pm yesterday, August 3.

The team was requested by Belfast Coastguard to help a 24ft fishing boat experiencing engine problems about 1/4 mile off the coast at Salterbeck.
The volunteer crew towed the vessel back to Workington where they were met by colleagues from Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team.

In a statement on social media, Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team said: "A fishing vessel close to shore contacted the coastguard reporting they had experienced engine failure."Ourselves, along with Workington Lifeboat, were tasked by Belfast Coastguard to attend and safely recover the skipper and vessel to its mooring."
