POPULAR music festival Kendal Calling has celebrated its 19th year with a sell-out crowd of 40,000 at Lowther Deer Park.
The much-anticipated event transforms the park into Cumbria’s third largest town, featuring music lovers from across the nation.
This year's festivities offered an impressive line-up of epic headliners, including Paul Heaton with special guest Rianne Downey, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, and Paolo Nutini.
Accompanied by a mix of established and emerging acts such as Kate Nash, Keane, Sugababes, Feeder, and Mercury Prize nominated artists CMAT and The Snuts, the festival truly catered to all tastes.
Thursday's attendees were treated to a stunning performance from Paul Heaton alongside Rianne Downey. The mesmerising sounds under a golden sunset marked a beautiful start to the event.
Other standout performances of the day included an energetic set by The Hunna.
Friday presented an array of exciting emerging artists.
Standouts included dynamic performances from CMAT, Flowerovlove and DEADLETTER, coupled with vibrant sets from Dick and Dom in the packed Parklands tent.
Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds closed Friday's session with an unforgettable performance.
Saturday saw The Streets delivering a revolutionary set to a thrilled audience, with further upbeat sounds from The Lightning Seeds and Kate Nash.
Comedian Russell Howard provided fits of laughter before the iconic Sugababes took to the stage.
The final day kick-started with a band discovered by Kendal Calling founder Ben Robinson, named Revivalry, followed by crowd-pleasers The Lancashire Hotpots.
The day also included Gary Neville's debut festival appearance, joining Tim Burgess on stage for a special DJ set.
The festival concluded with a swooned crowd hanging on to every note from Paolo Nutini's sensational vocals.
Beyond music, Kendal Calling 2024 provided memorable moments around the festival site.
Whether festival-goers chose to enjoy a brew in Tim Peaks Diner, explore the woodlands of Lost Eden, or immerse themselves in the energy front of stage, the event was filled with entertainment, surprise and intrigue for all attendees.
After another successful year, the festival will return next year to celebrate its 20th birthday in the picturesque Lowther Deer Park.
Remaining true to their mission for affordability, the organisers have frozen ticket prices to fall in line with this year's pricing.
Payment plans are also available from £15 per month, ensuring the celebrations remain accessible for a wide range of music lovers.
Andy Smith, co-founder of Kendal Calling said: "From Paolo Nutini to Gary Neville, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to Dick & Dom, packed out fields for Sugababes and The Reytons to the legendary Barrioke, woodlands adventures and swashbuckling parades… even a special visit from the Fury family backstage.
"The history books continue to be written, and 19 years in this could, quite possibly, have been our best one yet!
"As festival goers set off for another year and we return the fields to the wildlife who call it home, we want to extend an enormous and heartfelt ‘thank you!’ to each and every one who makes Kendal Calling the magical place that it is!
"The revelry, the community and the unutterable feeling of joy spans every corner of our site and that… is all down to you!"
The festival will mark its 20th year from July 31 - August 3 2025, with tickets due to go on sale at 10am on August 8, 2024.
