PLANS for a new agricultural storage building in the Carlisle area have been lodged with Cumberland Council.
The application is for a site on land, which has a total area of 39 hectares and is currently an agricultural field, next to Knotty Ash in Houghton.
It is described as a portal frame structure which would measure 18m by 9m, and 3.8m to the eaves and 4.5m to the ridge.
According to the planning application the walls would be dark brown timber boarding and the roof would be dark grey insulated cladding.
The application states the structure would be a standard style storage building for machinery and equipment.
The planning application is currently being considered by officers in the council’s planning department.
