A WOMAN was arrested for driving whilst under the influence of cannabis.
The individual failed a roadside test after police officers stopped her in the Eden area.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Eden neighbourhood policing sergeant 2141 and chief inspector 822 on mobile patrol in Eden area this evening.
"One female was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of cannabis on the A6, after failing a roadside drug test.
"We will continue to target those who drive on our roads whilst under the influence of drink or drugs, to make our community a safer place."
