A figurative painter's new oil paintings will be showcased at an art gallery this month.
Andrew Talbot's work will be on display at Beckstones Art Gallery in Greystoke Ghyll from August 10 until August 26.
This marks Mr Talbot's ninth solo exhibition, and his return to full-time painting after a five-year hiatus.
Mr Talbot turns the ordinary into the extraordinary, across a range of moods from classic and romantic to quirky and iconic.
He incorporates subtle yet skilled use of light and a range of rich colours.
Born into a farming family in 1972, Mr Talbot grew up in the Ribble Valley and began painting at the tender age of 13.
His inspirations include Forbes, Caravaggio, Ingres, and William Waterhouse.
He went on to graduate with a BA in Fine Art (Painting) from Loughborough College of Art.
Beckstones Art Gallery and Mr Talbot's partnership began in 2002.
Collections at the artist's previous exhibitions have always quickly sold out.
Prices for the current exhibition start at £2,250.
The complete catalogue can be accessed at www.beckstonesartgallery.co.uk.
The gallery is open daily from 10am until 5pm throughout the exhibition period.
