Tullie is continuing to run summer events despite not officially being open, and the popular museum and art gallery will host a professional football freestyler this week.
Scottish talent Ross Brown is set to host a number of events in Carlisle on Thursday afternoon, at the Tullie gardens.
Scott has been performing freestyle football professionally across the UK and internationally for several years, having only discovered a passion for football in his teenage years.
After years of crafting his skills, he is now one of the most in-demand professional freestylers in the UK, having worked with JD Sports, Scotland national team, New Balance, John Lewis and many more.
Speaking to the News & Star, he said: "I've only ever drove through Carlisle, so I'm looking forward to it.
"I got into freestyle football in around 2017. I was quite late getting into football when I was young, I didn't develop an interest until I was a teenager.
"I wanted to catch up to a lot of my friends who had been playing and I used to take the ball out, one-on-one and do a lot of practice with myself on the local pitch.
"I got very good control of the ball, but I was lacking off-the-ball skills. I quickly got quite good at keepy-ups and tricks... I'd seen a guy doing freestyle on YouTube and decided to go all in on that.
"It made a lot of sense to me at that point, I really enjoyed the skill side of it."
Freestyle is continuously 'getting bigger and better' and Scott was able to finish in the top 32 in the world championships in Prague in 2020.
On Thursday, Scott will run several freestyle football workshops.
He said: "I'll blast my speaker and give them a full performance before getting them up and running through a set of skills with a ball."
The skills workshop will take place in the gardens at Tullie and is recommended for children aged between seven and 13.
Tickets cost £7 for children, £5 for junior CUFC season ticket holders and £2 for accompanying adults.
