A Cumbrian photography enthusiast has captured the hearts of people across the world with his stunning images of the Lake District.
Rob Parsons moved to Eamont Bridge, a town just outside Penrith, in 2017 with his wife Jean.
Having first picked up a camera at the age of six, Rob now has the beautiful Lake District on his doorstep, and his passion for photography and walking has seen him amass £20,000 followers on Facebook alone.
Speaking to the News & Star, Rob said: "I've always posted photos of my walks on Facebook, from right back when it started in the mid 00's. In 2016 I joined in Country Walking magazine's 'walk 1000 miles' challenge and started posting on their Facebook page.
"My photos and write ups started to become popular and I began to receive many friend requests from people around the globe. I decided that I needed to separate my personal Facebook posts from my walking posts, so started the 'Just Walking with a Camera' page."

Despite the wider toxicity surrounding much of social media, Rob has managed to make lots of friends through his page, and loves nothing more than heading out to the fells after work, capturing some of Cumbria's natural beauty.
He said: "I often head out after work to camp in the fells, waking up to watch the sunrise and then heading back into work the following morning. This has provided some memorable sights - usually cloud inversions in the valleys below while the sun slowly rises in the east, lighting up the surrounding fells.
"I also love the winter, looking forward to the first snows of the season as the fells really come alive when coated in the white stuff. I'll never forget seeing some incredible floating ice formations on a small tarn in Brownrigg Moss - so rare, they made the national news!"
Rob is still surprised at how much his page has grown as he doesn't see himself as a pro photographer.
He added: "There are many, many far more talented snappers out there. But people seem to enjoy what I do, so who am I to argue? I don't actively seek to publicise and grow my page but people keep on finding me and seem to like what they see."
