EMERGENCY teams are currently on the scene of a fire in a West Cumbrian village - as police say the road will be closed for some time.
Police were called to the fire to assist colleagues from Cumbria Fire and Rescue at 7:06am this morning, August 15.
It is understood that the fire is affecting the Budgens store in the village.
In a statement Cumbria police said: "Officers are currently supporting colleagues from Cumbria Fire and Rescue whist they respond to a fire at a premises in Gosforth opposite the car park.
"The road is currently closed and will be for some time whist Cumbria Fire and Rescue deal with the fire."
