A 10-year-old dog who is currently in the care of a Cumbrian animals' charity is searching for a new home after his owner sadly passed away.
Rolo is currently being looked after by Oak Tree Animals' Charity, which is based on Wetheral's Oak Tree Farm, after the sad passing of his former owner.
Now the local charity is searching for a new home for the 10-year-old crossbreed who is described as 'nervous' but also a 'big goofball'.
Oak Tree Animals' Charity said: "This handsome boy would like a home with a secure garden.
Describing Rolo on their website,"He was nervous of new things when he first came to us but has really come out of his shell whilst in our care.
"Once he is comfortable around you he is a big goofball.
"Rolo loves exploring the outside world, his favourite things to do are sniffing everything and rolling around in the grass.
"When he isn't exploring he enjoys finding a sunny spot to relax and take a nap."
Anyone who wants to find out more about Rolo is asked to complete the charity's Online Dog Adoption Matchmaking Questionnaire.
