THE Solway Aviation Museum is keeping its fundraiser open for the coming weeks to help support the restoration of the last surviving Blackburn Beverley aircraft.
Known as 'Big Bev', the RAF transport plane arrived at the museum near Carlisle, bit by bit, throughout the year.
The main body of the plane arrived at the end of July.
It will now be reassembled with its appeal continuing to help rebuild the iconic aircraft that first took flight in 1955.
As of August 13, £84,307 had been raised to help with the project.
To contribute to the ongoing fundraiser, you can visit the Solway Aviation Museum on Facebook.
