FINDINGS of an investigation into an aircraft crash in Cumbria are set to be published next month.
On August 16, 2023, a Magic Cyclone, G-KEVA, accelerated and hit a wire fence at Glassonby airfield, near Penrith, while preparing to take off, causing the pilot serious injuries, a report states.
Now over a year later, the Air Accidents Investigation Branch, which investigates civil aircraft accidents around the UK, has confirmed the investigation has been completed with a final report set to be released come September.
