Dear England, the popular theatre production depicting Gareth Southgate's time playing and managing the national football team, is to be shown in Carlisle next week.
Filmed live on stage at the National Theatre, Rupert Goold directs this spectacular new play, written by James Graham.
The award-winning play looks at the pressures of elite sport, and the role of the Three Lions in the national psyche.
It also explores how Southgate helped to change notions of masculinity on the England team.
The fictionalised account of the struggles and successes of England's football teams features characters depicting England regulars such as captain Harry Kane and Chelsea's Raheem Sterling.
After being first performed in June 2023, the play can now be seen for the first time in Carlisle next week, with Tullie to show a live screening of the performance on Thursday, August 29 at 6pm.
Tickets are available online for £15, or £12 for Tullie members or Carlisle United season ticket holders.
