A man has been identified after a video circulating online appears to show a man allegedly holding samurai sword in Workington.
The alleged item, which was actually an umbrella with a samurai sword handle, was handed over to officers on the evening of August 20 by the man.

Officers received two reports, one at 8:47pm on August 20 on New Bridge Road, Workington in which Tesco staff confirmed to officers the alleged item was an umbrella with a samurai sword handle having asked and being shown the umbrella by the male.
Police received a further report at 9:19pm on August 20 from Senhouse Street, Workington, with the same description given as the male spoken to earlier in Tesco.
