Former Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Barbara Nice is set to perform in Carlisle later this year.
Ordinary housewife extraordinaire Barbara Nice will present a joyful get-together at the Old Fire Station in late October.
Barbara says: "In these dark days, we need to find fun whenever we piggin’ can”.
The Old Fire Station said: "Edinburgh Festival regular and comedy circuit headliner Barbara Nice brings out the hidden joy in all of us."
Janice Connolly, who portrays Barbara Nice, reached the semi-finals of the talent show Britain's Got Talent in series 13, five years ago.
She runs the Birmingham-based group Women and Theatre and has appeared in popular television shows such as Phoenix Nights, That Peter Kay Thing and Coronation Street.
In 2017, Connolly was awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Years Honours list for services to community arts in the West Midlands
She will perform in Carlisle on Thursday, October 24 at 7.30pm with tickets available online now.
