Recent anti-social behaviour in Dalston involving youngsters kicking doors, and throwing stones at buildings and parked cars has drawn Cumbria Police's attention.
Parents have been urged to guide their children on their public behaviour if they have been travelling to the area via train.
A spokesperson from Carlisle Police said: "If you have a young person who you know has been going out to Dalston via the train, then please have a conversation with them about how they conduct themselves in public."
Local authorities have indicated their intent to utilise CCTV and liaise with schools in Carlisle and Wigton, to appropriately identify and deal with the suspects.
