UPDATE: Kyle has now been found safe and well.
POLICE are concerned for the welfare of 16-year-old Kyle Shankland from Carlisle last spotted at Briar Bank at 5.30pm on Saturday August 24.
Police have posted the following appeal: "Have you seen missing 16-year-old Kyle Shankland?
"Police are concerned for the welfare of Kyle who was last seen in the area of Briar Bank in Carlisle at around 5:30pm yesterday (24 August).
"Kyle is described as 5ft 7in tall, slim build and has short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black Carlisle United hoodie, black football boots and blue tracksuit bottoms.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
"Officers would also like to urge Kyle to contact this number if he sees this appeal."
