Dinosaurs will take-over west Cumbria next month as they make an appearance at a free event at a popular attraction.
The free 'Dino Mania' event at Ravenglass Railway Museum will take families on a journey through time on September 28 and 29.
Lifesize dinosaur puppets will be on display, including a herd of hatchlings, as well as the UK's largest walking Ankylosaurus.
There will be plenty of activities held throughout the day which includes storytelling, fossil digging, dino-themed arts and crafts, and palaeontology workshops.
Claire Winter-Moore, collections assistant at Ravenglass Railway Museum, says: “We’re really excited about bringing these amazing lifelike dinosaurs to the museum for an unforgettable interactive experience.
“Aimed mainly at families with children aged four to 12, including parents and grandparents, we’re sure they will wow our visitors.
“As well as giving families the chance to come face-to-face with dinosaurs, the event will have a real community feel, with fun activities and workshops to find out more about life tens of millions of years ago. Of course, it’s all free for people to enjoy too."
There will also be a few surprises popping up at Ravenglass and Dalegarth stations throughout the day.
Dino Mania will take place between 10am and 4pm at the end of September.
