A nuclear fallout game inspired by the 1957 Windscale disaster will launch in March 2025.
Rebellion, an independent video game studio, shared more details of Atomfall at Gamescom including a release date and what players can expect from this Fallout-style game.
Atomfall is set five years after the fire at Sellafield inside a fictionalised quarantine zone that encompasses lush countryside, caves, valleys, and a picturesque village.
Players will have to navigate military camps, underground bunkers, and pagan ruins with their trusty metal detector to get to the bottom of what happened at Windscale.
Interacting with cults, cryptic agencies, and eccentric characters will be central to navigating the world of Atomfall.
The game will be available from day one of the Xbox Game Pass, it will be available to play on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
