Newcastle United's Cumbrian midfielder Joe White has signed a new deal - before sealing a loan move to League Two.
Carlisle-born White will spend the rest of the season with MK Dons.
The 21-year-old's deadline day move follows the agreement of an extended deal at St James' Park.
It is the fourth loan deal of White's promising career with the young Cumbrian having previously spent time with Hartlepool United, Exeter City and Crewe Alexandra.
After an impressive half season with Crewe last term, he spend the second half of the campaign on Newcastle's first-team scene, with White making his Premier League debut amid four first-team appearances.
The Magpies hope White will gain further valuable experience under former Newcastle man Mike Williamson, who is the head coach at Stadium MK.

White, who was on Carlisle's academy books before coming through the ranks at St James' Park, joins an MK side who picked up their first points of the season last weekend when defeating the Blues 3-0.
Newcastle confirmed White has extended his contract although the length of the new terms were not announced.
"Everybody at Newcastle United wishes Joe well for the season ahead," said the Magpies in a statement.
MK Dons boss Williamson has welcomed the arrival of the skilful Cumbrian.
"Joe is a technically gifted player who can operate in between the lines," said Williamson on the MK website.
"He's a creative footballer who will naturally influence games with his ability.
"We're extremely grateful to Newcastle United for trusting us with one of their most exciting talents this season, I'm really looking forward to working with him."
White is the grandson of the late former Carlisle United player, coach and physio and Workington Reds manager Peter Hampton. He has been recovering from a back injury in the early stages of the 2024/25 season.
He could face his home-city club for the first time when MK Dons visit Brunton Park to face Carlisle on January 11.
