ALL non-urgent appointments at Chandlers Lane Dental Practice in Brampton have been postponed following a fire on Sunday afternoon.

Patients with ‘urgent’ dental concerns will be seen at Haltwhistle Dental Health whilst the practice is closed.

Fire crews arrived at Chandlers Lane shortly after 2pm on Sunday, September 1 to help battle a blaze at the property.

Three fire engines were at the scene with eyewitnesses reporting that they saw smoke coming out of the upstairs rooms.

In a statement, Chandlers Lane Dental Practice said that they hoped to have the practice back running again ‘as soon as possible’.

A spokesperson for Chandlers Lane Dental Practice said: “Due to the building suffering from an unfortunate fire, we will be implementing our force majeure strategy.

“All non-urgent appointments will be postponed.

“We will contact all patients in due course once in a position to do so.

“We would appreciate it if you refrain from contacting us, as our efforts will be focussed on dealing with patients in pain and the reopening of the practice.

“We will be organising for patients with urgent concerns and/or treatments that cannot be postponed to be seen at Haltwhistle Dental Health.
