A CHURCH in Cleator Moor will be hosting its annual Pilgrimage this week.
St Mary's Church in Cleator will host the religious ceremony on Sunday, September 8, at 3pm.
A St Mary's Church spokesperson said: "The theme this year is 'Our Lady, Guide of the Wanderer'. So many in our world are on the move seeking safety, peace, and economic security.
"So many in our world are wandering and rootless in their moral and religious lives. We seek the intercession of Our Lady who gave us Jesus the Way, the Truth, the Life."
The service is usually held in the Grotto, outside of the church, however, this is weather permitting.
The service usually contains a variety of hymns and prayers and those who attend can receive communion.
