CUMBRIA Police have been targetting key areas in communities where antisocial behaviour is problematic.

Officers have been on patrol in places like Cleator Moor and Maryport as part of Operation Enhance.

The programme aims to tackle antisocial behaviour and other criminal activities that are growing increasingly problematic.

In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "We have officers out and about in Cleator Moor, Whitehaven, Workington & Maryport this evening as part of Op Enhance Cumbria's operation tackling anti-social behaviour and violence in our communities.

"We’re ready to respond to any incidents and help keep people safe."
