Rebecca Bird, founder of Cumbrian company Precision HR, is in the running for a top honour at the illustrious Northern Power Women Awards.

Bird's nomination for the "One to Watch" category was unveiled for the March 18, 2025, award ceremony at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

The Northern Power Women Awards, celebrating its ninth year, is the biggest event acknowledging gender balance in Europe, lauding the extraordinary achievements of individuals and groups committed to furthering gender equality across the North of England.

With an impressive 25-year career, Rebecca Bird has become a heavyweight in the human resources domain.

She has an MSc in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Bird's professional journey began as the managing director and shareholder of a prospering recruitment and training business in Cumbria.

This experience afforded her with an insightful understanding of the hurdles encountered by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This year, Bird founded Precision HR, a consultancy committed to delivering easy, effective human resources solutions tailored for the distinctive requirements of SMEs.
