Cumbria’s new medical school is now open for applications for the first time.
Applications for the new graduate entry programme in Medicine at the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine are open until October 15 2024
This unique partnership between the University of Cumbria and Imperial College London will focus on training doctors in Cumbria, for Cumbria.

Based in Fusehill Street, Carlisle, the medical school will open its doors to the first cohort of students in September 2025.
The four-year programme focuses on training doctors in Cumbria who will support the region’s healthcare needs. Open to health and bioscience graduates, the course will equip students with the practical skills, knowledge and qualifications to be a doctor.
