A FAMILY are offering a 'generous reward' as they continue searching for their missing parrot Django.
Django, who is a Galah parrot, escaped from Blencogo, Wigton on Saturday, August 3 with his worried owners Helen and Craig Wilson unable to locate him for over a month.
Helen and Craig have had Django since he was a chick and described how much he means to their family.
They said: "Django has been with us for 10 years.
"We have had him since he was a baby, he has a very strong bond with my children, especially Chloe, and we miss him very much.
"Django is a valued member of our family. Parrots see their humans as 'their flock' and he is the best companion any of us could wish for."
Helen and Craig are holding out hope that Django will be located after receiving information that he may have been sighted at Laings Garden Centre in Carlisle and are offering a reward for his location.
They said: "Django makes distinctive sounds. He shouts 'Pwiddy boy', 'Craig', 'Chloe', [he] quacks, makes appliance sounds and calls: 'It's tea time'.
"Django likes 80s music, loves to dance, and loves crisps."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Helen and Craig Wilson on 07814 159039.
