A NEW yoga class catering to women of all life stages is launching in Houghton next month.
Viva Well-Women, launched by experienced yoga instructor Samantha Walker, will be arriving at Gosling Sike, Houghton, as part of her broader Viva Yoga classes.
"I’m excited to announce the launch of a brand-new class—Viva Well-Women.
"Designed to support women at all stages of life, it’s a class that blends yoga postures, breathwork, and resistance training to promote physical and mental well-being," Samantha said.
The class incorporates various styles of yoga, such as Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga, as well as resistance training.
What sets Viva Well-Women apart is its focus on female-specific issues like hormonal balance, postpartum recovery, and menopause.
It's designed to provide benefits through balancing hormones, enhancing strength, and stability, relieving stress, maintaining emotional balance, as well as bringing attendees part of a welcoming community.
"Whether you’re a new mother, going through menopause, or simply looking for a practice that honours your body, this class is for you."
The first Viva Well-Women class on October 17 will start at 9.30am.
Prospective participants can reserve their spots via the Viva Yoga Carlisle website.
