A photographer has captured several stunning shots of low-flying jet fighters in the Lake District.
Jonny Gios is a landscape and wildlife photographer based in the Lake District and captured the jaw-dropping shots of the F-15 and Havoc Typhoon jets at Honister on Friday, September 6.
This was Jonny's first time photographing fighter jets at Honister and he expressed his shock at seeing the two pilots waving once he inspected his shots.
He said: "I didn't look at them when I was at Honister but going back through them I could see the two pilots waving.
"I know that it was a fini flight where a pilot does his last flight before he retires but I have never been there to take pictures of the jets, I always film it, and it was my first time at Honister. I did not know what to expect.
"I think it all paid off and I nailed it."
