CUMBRIA Police dealt with unacceptable parking in part of the Lake District.
Several drivers were observed to be parked in an unsuitable manner in the Buttermere area.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "PCSO's 5417 and 5375 spent this afternoon patrolling the Buttermere and Borrowdale area. Several vehicles were observed in that time to be parked in positions which were causing issues to the flow of traffic and on double yellow lines.
"Several vehicle owners were issued with advice and a Civil Enforcement officer attended the area and issued penalty notices to those contravening the yellow lines."
