Penrith residents experiencing tough times can take a moment to relax at a local charity's talking group.
Carlisle Eden Mind's Breathing Space provides a space for people who are feeling anxious, lonely, or overwhelmed to meet others and take a pause.
The next event will be held on September 10, the following will take place on October 1.
It's a regular event held once or twice a month at the 4Eden Cafe at Penrith Parish Centre from 10-11.30am.
Breathing Space offers a friendly atmosphere with no pressure to talk but it's also an opportunity to connect with people who may also be experiencing similar things.
Tea, coffee, and cake are provided for free.
Anybody who would like more information or who may feel nervous about attending the event is encouraged to email Phil on phil.t@cemind.org.
