A Carlisle shopping centre has hosted its second 'Live & Local' music event.
'Live & Local @ The Lanes' was held at The Lanes Shopping Centre in East Tower Square on Saturday, September 7 and featured performances from two local musicians.
At the event that was held in partnership with HMV, Thomas Macgregor and Ollie Harris both performed outside of HMV Carlisle.
Speaking after the event Susan Young, centre manager of The Lanes said: "We like to offer our customers that little bit extra when visiting The Lanes and our Live & Local event gives musicians the opportunity to perform to an audience that wants to see local acts."
Russ Withey, HMV Carlisle store manager also said: "We are thrilled to be providing talented local musicians to have an opportunity to share their music to a wider audience on stage in the Lanes Shopping Centre through our HMV Live & Local initiative.
"We are working with the Lanes shopping centre to provide an improved shopping experience enhanced by different styles of music."
