A dental practice has reopened after a fire broke out, causing extensive damage.
The fire broke out at Chandlers Lane Dental Practice in Brampton, adjacent to Front Street as firefighters with breathing apparatus entered the building on September 1.
A spokesperson from the dental practice have since issued an update to patients: “Firstly, we would like to extend our huge thanks to the emergency services who attended to the unfortunate fire from our building last Sunday afternoon.
“Without their prompt response, things could have been a lot worse.
“Thank you to our patients for being understanding and patient.
“The amount of well wishes and supportive messages, letters, and cakes we have received has been quite truly overwhelming.”
They said the days following the fire were a ‘whirlwind’ but thanks to the hard work of their staff, the impact has been minimised.
They thanked the electricians, plumbers, decorators, and Emergency Clean UK for postponing their jobs to help out.
On September 9 they reopened, and said they’ll be working additional evening and weekend sessions to catch up on this week’s postponed appointments.
“It will take a few weeks until we are back up to full capacity and we will be in touch with patients who had appointments this week to rearrange,” they added.
