POLICE are investigating the theft of a truck, trailer, diggers, and various tools and machinery from an industrial estate near Workington.
The burglary is said to have taken place on Pittwood Road at Lilyhall Industrial Estate, Workington, between 10pm on September 9 and 1.30am on September 10.
The stolen items included a green Mitsubishi tipper truck, branded with 'Coombe and Sharp', which was carrying a trailer with two diggers on it.
"The truck was also in convoy with a Blue Skoda Octavia," a spokesperson from Cumbria Police said.
