Residents of a north Cumbrian town can access support from local organisations at an upcoming event.

The autumn harvest event at Brampton Methodist Church will bring together groups such as Riverside Housing, Age UK, and Cumberland Council to offer free guidance for people from Brampton and the surrounding area.

They can help residents on a wide range of things like providing benefit advice and explaining how to do a benefit health check, advising on energy, and offering mental wellbeing support.

There will also be a selection of free items available to collect for Halloween and Christmas, children's festive clothes, hygiene products, and household cleaning products.

The event will take place at the church on Friday September 27 between 9am and 12pm.
