Cumbria has a plethora of beautiful cafe's, restaurants and shops, many of which will offer some delicious desserts.
Everyone will have their own personal favourites, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, we have looked collated Trip Advisor's list of the 10 best spots across the Lake District and Cumbria.
1. Baldry's Tea Room, Grasmere
The traditional English Tea Room with vintage styling tops the list with a 4.5/5 rating from nearly 1500 reviews. It sells beautiful cakes and scones, as well as breads, brownies and other puddings.
2. The Apple Pie Cafe, Ambleside
Famed for its homemade apple pies, this cosy café in Ambleside is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their pies, served warm with cream or custard, are beloved by both locals and visitors.
3. Syke Farm Tearoom, Buttermere
The café close to Cockermouth has a vast selection of cakes and desserts, which have earned it a rating of 4.5/5 from Trip Advisor.
4. Lunesdale Bakery, Kirkby Lonsdale
The bakery at the heart of the town produces many artisan breads, pastries and cakes and is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike.
5. The Yew Tree, Keswick
The first pub of the list is The Yew Tree, which has an incredible 5/5 rating according to Trip Advisor. For anyone who loves a dessert after a hearty meal, this is the place to go.
6. The Milking Parlour, Kirkby Lonsdale
The parlour in Kirkby Lonsdale serves its own delicious artisan ice cream, locally warm Belgian waffle sticks, and ice cream milkshakes, which are perfect for hot and cold weather. It has another impressive 5/5 rating from Trip Advisor.
7. The Little Ice Cream Shop, Hawkshead
Another ice cream shop features on the list, which is testament to how much people love the frozen delight in Cumbria. It serves 22 different flavours, sourcing milk cream from a local dairy in Windermere.
8. Emma's Dell, Grasmere
Trip Advisor's final selection is a licensed crêperie and café in the heart of Grasmere Village, which also serves homemade cakes and scones. It earns 4.5/5 stars from Trip Advisor.
