Auction House Cumbria
Auction House Cumbria's live auction on Thursday, September 5th, at The Halston in Carlisle was a tremendous success. Forty-two lots were offered, generating over £3 million for our clients.
Many properties surpassed their guide prices, reflecting the strong demand in the local property market. Notable sales included Croft Side in Branthwaite, a detached bungalow needing modernisation, which sold for £48,000 above its guide price. Similarly, a semi-detached house at Seventy-Four Lund Crescent in Carlisle, also requiring renovation, exceeded expectations by £25,000 over the guide. Thirty-Nine Argyle Street in Barrow-In-Furness, a terraced property ready for updating, outperformed its guide by £23,000. These results highlight the effectiveness of live, in-room bidding in securing excellent sale prices for our sellers.
Our next auction is on Thursday, October 24th. There is still significant demand for properties in the region. Our auctions offer a fast and efficient way to sell everything from homes to commercial properties and land.
Upcoming auction dates are:
- Thursday, October 24th
- Thursday, December 12th
