The Royal Air Force (RAF) Spadeadam has announced 'late flying' over Cumbria and Northumberland skies today (September 13).
The range will be active outside routine hours this evening, with aircraft activity continuing until 6pm.
It is part of normal operational training, but the announcement was made as it falls outside the standard training times.
A spokesperson from RAF Spadeadam said: "For the attention of all our neighbours in Cumbria and Northumberland, the RAF Spadeadam range will be active outside our routine hours this evening.
"This activity is normal routine training, and this notification is made as the activity is outside the standard range training times.
"We thank you for your understanding and your continuing support whilst we deliver this essential operational training."
