"Don't miss this opportunity to remember and reflect on the events that took place 80 years ago.
"The annual service to remember and commemorate the Battle of Britain will take place on Sunday, September 15, 3pm, held in the presence of veterans and serving members of the RAF from RAF Spadeadam. Music will be sung by the Cathedral Boys' Choir and lay clerks.
"Refreshments will be served after the service in the Border Regimental Chapel."
