A group of Cumbrian rugmakers have enjoyed a 'great response' to their Cumberland Rag Rug Exhibition.
The exhibition, which features contemporary rugs that have been made in Cumbria and the North of England, has been taking place between Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 15 at Lanercost's Dacre Hall.
The exhibition has also featured several workshops on how to create your own rug and a masterclass with rugmaker Louisa Creed.
In addition, the event also focused on sustainability, with craft prioritising the usage of recycled materials.
Raf Appleby is one of the local rugmakers who has helped to organise the event and expressed her delight at the response to the exhibition.
She said: "We've had a great response to the exhibition.
"It shows that although this is a traditional craft it can be used in any number of new and creative ways, enabling anyone to recycle clothes into beautiful rugs and wall hangings."
