Tickets for a conspiracy theory show by a popular comedian are still on sale.
Dom Joly, perhaps best known for his TV show Trigger Happy TV, will perform at Carlisle’s Old Fire Station on November 5 and Keswick's Theatre by the Lake on September 26 this year.
The promo for the event explained that Joly had been travelling across the world looking into ‘some of the strangest and weirdest conspiracy theories in existence’.
Home from his expedition, he will share what he learned with the audience, providing what the promo called a ‘hilarious, fascinating, and slightly anarchic guide to the wacky world of conspiracies’.
Such conspiracies he’ll cover include:
- Is the earth flat?
- Does Finland exist?
- Did JFK kill himself?
- Is Q Anon mentally ill?
- Is Bill Gates using vaccines to take control of your mind?
- Is Denver Airport a massive panic room for the Illuminati?
- Are UFOs piloted by lizards?
He will invite 'Dr Julian Northcote', 'known for his promotion of conspiracy theories', onto the stage ‘for fairness’.
Joly will also sign books at the end of the show.
For more information about the show, and to buy a ticket which costs £27.50, visit the Old Fire Station's or Theatre by the Lake's websites.
