A young farmers club in north Cumbria has raised more than £26,000 for charity.
Raughton Head Young Farmers handed over a cheque for £26,767.77 to the MND Association last week after they completed a 'Many Miles for MND' challenge during the summer.
The MND Association supports people diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and their families.
Raughton Head Young Farmers wrote on social media: "On Tuesday night we had the wonderful Dominic and Fiona come to speak to us from the MNDA about MND and all they do to support the people and families affected by it.
"It was a really moving and informative talk - one that we really appreciated so thank you both."
Members and supporters completed 2777.44 miles on the challenge day in June which is the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats if you were to travel it three times.
They could undertake the challenge in a variety of different ways from cycling and rowing, to running and walking, or even playing cricket.
Among those taking part were 57 members and 61 parents, partners, ex-members, future members, and advisory team members.
