With Halloween right around the corner, a north Cumbrian tourist attraction will help people get into the spooky spirit with a month-long event.
Greystoke Castle near Penrith is opening its grounds in October for an "unforgettable pumpkin picking experience."
Food and drink will be available on the day at the outdoor Mood Mare café or at the Butler's Pantry.
The castle opened as a visitor attraction for the first time in 2024 after local businessman Tom Nash began redevelopment work back in 2022.
It is steeped in history, dating back to 1129, and was even featured in the Tarzan novel.
Pumpkin picking will take place from October 5-31 and will be open between 12-5pm.
Entry to the event is free with no advance booking required.
